George W. Gore is Special Counsel at The Alfred Firm, focusing his practice on complex briefing and appellate briefing in the Firm’s workplace injury, refinery explosion, construction accident, catastrophic personal injury, rideshare injury, and 18-wheeler crash cases. With over twenty-four years of practice, George has handled a wide range of personal injury matters, as well as commercial, corporate, contract, and major bankruptcy cases. Although he has represented major corporations, small businesses, and insurance companies, his primary focus is on helping and protecting individuals. George has logged hundreds of hours in courthouses throughout Texas, representing over a thousand clients in litigation and negotiating numerous six and seven-figure settlements.
George graduated from North Shore High School in Houston and attended the University of Houston, where he received a BBA in Finance. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he worked as a mechanic and bank teller. He later managed multiple stores while he and his wife obtained their law degrees. He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and became licensed to practice in 2001.During law school, George clerked with the Internal Revenue Service and the First Court of Appeals, gaining experience in multiple appellate matters. After law school, he worked at a litigation boutique for a few years before starting his own firm, which he ran for nearly twenty years.In his spare time, George enjoys spending time with his children, watching sports, reading, writing, and grilling.
